Pimp my F-35

In response to Noah's challenge, I tricked out the interior and exterior of the Joint Strike Fighter using the standard "Pimp My Ride" formula: Add a frivolous multimedia center to the interior...

...and cover the exterior with an obnoxious, brightly-colored pattern.

I considered putting some high-gloss faux-woodgrain panels in the interior, but there is literally too much crap in the cockpit for such a Photoshop feat to be worthwhile.

I might be old fashioned (and not hip to what the kids are doing these days), but I must say that the F-35 sure would look keen with a bit of the old school station wagon wood paneling.

I don't know, then you'd have to make a white exterior, which would show dirt pretty badly. The Air Force and Navy would have to run that sucker through the 'jetwash' everyday.

Wood paneling would look pretty cool though...

what about the rims? And sound system?

You know, I was thinking about rims, but I just couldn't find a good picture of the F-35 with landing gear extended. Either way, the F-35 moves on its wheels to infrequently, you'd have to motorize the chrome spinnaz'.

As for the sound system, they just aren't useful in a fighter jet. I heard JBL is working on some sort of helmet mounts, but it still in the R&D phase -- it will probably cost another $25-30 million.
